— What we do

Most of what a home needs, inside and out.

We started in fencing and painting. Customers kept asking us to take on more of the house, so we did. Painting and flooring are still the heart of it.

— A contractor who calls you back

The number one worry homeowners tell us about isn't price, and it isn't quality. It's whether the guy who came out to look at the job will ever show up again.

We hear it constantly. Somebody came by, measured everything, said they’d send a quote, and that was the last anybody heard from them.

We don’t understand it either. At Ramsey Contracting, you get a real estimate with a real project plan, and then we do the work the way we said we would. No disappearing act. No surprise charges halfway through.

That’s not a slogan. It’s just how the Ramsey family has always done business, going back to the thirty years my dad spent building fences all over Cobb and Paulding County.

— How a Ramsey job runs

Most contractors treat the walkthrough as an afterthought. We flip that around.

1
Before

We walk it before.

Your estimate comes from actually looking at the job, not from square footage over the phone. You’ll get a straight number and a plan for how the work will go, in plain English.

2
During

We walk it during.

The crew leader and the project manager check the work while it’s happening. Problems get caught when they’re cheap to fix, not after the furniture’s back in the room.

3
After

We walk it after.

Two final walkthroughs, one with the crew and one with the project manager, and nobody signs off until the work is right. Then you walk it with us. If you see something, we fix it.

A lot of crews run in, install, and leave without ever inspecting their own work. We think that’s backwards.

— Down to the studs, back to a home

We're not afraid of the part behind the drywall.

Water damage, gutted bathrooms, floors that have to come all the way out. This is the work that shows what a crew is made of.

— Straight bids

Not the cheapest bid. Not the highest. The right one.

We’re rarely the lowest number you’ll get, and we’re usually not the highest. What we try to be is the most direct.

?

What the problem is

Our estimate names it plainly, so you know what you’re actually fixing.

✓

What it takes to solve it properly

Prep, primer, subfloor, second coat. Nothing left off the sheet so it can show up later.

$

What that costs

One written number. If a cheaper bid skips the primer or the subfloor repair, it isn’t cheaper. You’ll just pay for it twice.

— A family name on every job

Ramsey isn't a brand somebody dreamed up in a marketing meeting. It's our last name.

It’s the name my two boys carry, and the name my dad built his fencing business on for three decades. When we put it on a truck and on your invoice, we mean it.

The long-term plan is simple: bring the family into the business, keep the crews small enough that we know every job, and do the work in a way we’d be proud to hand down. That means we can’t afford to cut corners. Our name’s on it.

The kind of job that shows what a crew is made of.

— Carrollton, GA

A whole house, brought back.

A family called us after water had gotten into their house and ruined the inside. Not one room. The whole interior, gutted down to the studs.

We restored every room, top to bottom, and handed the family back a home. It’s why we don’t flinch at big projects.

Projects start at $1,000. We’re a full-service contractor rather than a repair company, so small handyman jobs aren’t a fit. Not sure? Call and ask. We’ll point you the right way either way.
